Fremont County does not have a local public health order in place. The mask mandate is still in effect until May 3rd at which time it will either be extended, amended, or dissolved by the Governor.

In response to the decline in COVID-19 case rates, test positivity, and hospitalizations, the Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment, along with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is moving Fremont County to Level Blue: Caution. The move to Level Blue: Caution will go into effect at 6 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

In response to the decline in COVID-19 case rates, test positivity, and hospitalizations, the Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment, along with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is moving Fremont County to Safer at Home Level Yellow: Concern. The move to Safer at Home Level Yellow: Concern will go into effect Friday, February 5, 2021.
