  1. Planning Your Genealogy Trip

    June 19, 2021, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Zoom meeting

    Are you in the mood for an adventure? Are you planning on taking a trip this summer? Why not consider a genealogy trip? We’ll examine some records that are not on the internet, talk about helpful tools to bring along, and look at some reasons to visit your ancestors’ hometown. This program is free and open to the public but registration is required. Please register online or contact the museum for more information. Hosted by the Royal Gorge Regional Museum & History Center, this virtual genealogy class will be led by Terri Meeks. This program will be held over Zoom on Saturday, June 19th from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. The program is free and open to the public but registration is required.

  2. Shakespeare in the Park

    June 19, 2021, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Macon Plaza

    The Canon City Public Library is in partnership with the Fremont Center for the Arts in presenting Shakespeare in the Park. A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed by Theatreworks and the University of Colorado in Macon Plaza on Saturday, June 19th at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and again on Friday, June 25th at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
