DVDs

The Cañon City Public Library has a large collection of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs available for checkout. Most DVDs are located in the computer lab on the lower level of the library. 

DVD checkouts are limited to 15 single DVDs, 3 seasons (each season counts as 5 DVDs,) or a mixture of the two.

Computer Access

The computer lab includes access to internet connected computers for public use. The computers all have Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. All public computers are connected to and can print to a central printer located in the computer lab.

One computer in the computer lab is reserved for use of the Colorado Grants Guide and is available for public use.

Printing and Copies

The Computer Lab has a photocopy machine that can make copies of documents or photos up to legal document size (8.5″ x 14″)

Printing and copy services have the following pricing:

Black and White Pages: $0.25 per page

Color Pages: $0.50 per page 

Cash or check only. We cannot process debit/credit at this time.

Faxing

The library can send and receive faxes with the following pricing:

Sending Fax: $3.00 for the first page and $1.00 per page thereafter to the same number

Receiving Fax: $0.50 per page

Cash or check only. We cannot process debit/credit at this time.

Scan to Email

The printer in the computer lab can be used to scan documents or photos and send them to email. 

     This is a free service.

Notary Services

The Cañon City Public Library has notary services available from opening until 4:30 pm. This is a free service, but donations are appreciated.

One-on-One Computer Help

Our staff is available to help with computer and device problems. Appointments must be scheduled with staff and are available at no cost.

Databases

The Cañon City Public Library provides access for patrons to multiple databases and research materials online. EBSCO databases include but are not limited to academic research, automotive and small engine repair, consumer reports, and preparation for various tests such as GED, ACT, nursing, CDL, electrician, U.S. citizenship, and many more. 

These databases can be accessed in the library or at home using a library card.

Meeting Room

The computer lab houses a meeting room that is available for public use. Meetings, clubs, or individual sessions may be scheduled in the meeting room. Patrons will need to fill out a form with a staff member for recurring clubs and check for availability to use the meeting room.
