Artist Proposal Form - Streamline Version

  1. The Artist Proposal Form is designed to streamline the process for artists submitting their artwork for review and approval. This form collects essential information about the proposed artwork, including its description, materials, dimensions, visual representations, and estimated completion timeline. The form ensures that all necessary details are provided for an efficient and thorough evaluation by the review committee.

For questions, please contact Rick Harrmann at rlharrmann@canoncity.gov or 719.276.5279.

  2. Artist Information

In this section, artists provide their contact information, including name, email, phone number, and optionally, their website and portfolio link. This information helps the committee easily reach out to the artist for any follow-ups or additional questions.

  3. Artwork Description

Artists are required to provide the title and a detailed description of their proposed artwork. This description should capture the essence and concept of the piece, giving the committee a clear understanding of the artist's vision.

  4. Materials to be Used

Artists list all materials that will be used in creating the artwork. This helps the committee assess the feasibility and safety of the materials in the proposed location.

  5. Dimensions and Location

Artists specify the dimensions of the artwork and the proposed installation location. Accurate dimensions and a clear location proposal are crucial for evaluating the spatial requirements and suitability of the artwork.

  6. Proposed Artwork Location Address
  7. Visual Mock-Up or Sketches

Upload visual representations of the proposed artwork, such as mock-ups or sketches. Thumbnails or visual examples of previous work can also be included to provide additional context and demonstrate the artist's style and capabilities. *Limited to 6 files.

  8. Time and Proposed Completion Date

Artists provide an estimated timeline for the completion of the artwork and propose a completion date. This information is essential for planning and scheduling the review and approval process.

  9. Budget

Although not currently applicable, artists are asked to provide an estimated budget for the project. This section may become relevant for future projects that require budget considerations.

  10. Artist Portfolio

Artists can optionally include a link to their portfolio. A portfolio provides the committee with a broader view of the artist’s work and experience.

  11. Submission
