Beginning Monday, December 11, 2023, the area of East Main Street and Rhodes Avenue will be closed to through traffic for the completion of the Rhodes Avenue Stormwater Improvement Project.
East Main Street will be closed to through traffic between Raynolds Avenue and the HWY 50 Access near 2970 East Main Street. Rhodes Avenue will also be closed to through traffic between Spartan Avenue and East Main Street. Detours around the work site will be in place. Access to businesses and driveways will be maintained. This closure will be in place for the duration of the project with an estimated completion date of April 1, 2024, weather permitting. The City of Cañon City appreciates your patience and cooperation.
